Mission work in Kazakhstan began in the early 1990s, shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union, when Missionary O brought the gospel to the region. Under God’s guidance, he married a local woman and started a family, continuing to serve by planting churches and training gospel workers and pastors through seminary ministry.
Through the sister churches established over the years, the gospel has spread throughout Kazakhstan, and the grace of salvation in Christ is reaching many. Our Eastside Presbyterian Church has been blessed to partner in this precious missionary work for decades through prayer and financial support.
