In September 2023, our Eastside Presbyterian Church adopted a mission field in the T region of Mongolia. We have been providing coaching in pastoral ministry and mission strategy, along with various forms of support, to help the local church and mission work led by Pastor Gan and his wife, Missionary Lee.
Since the gospel first entered Mongolia about 30 years ago, the Holy Spirit has been powerfully working by sending God’s people to what was once a barren land for missions. Our church has been sending short-term mission teams to serve through English camps and evangelistic gatherings, faithfully proclaiming the gospel and carrying out the mission of saving souls. Due to the nation’s lingering socialist political atmosphere, gospel work and church ministry still face restrictions and government surveillance, requiring much wisdom and prayer. We continue to pray for fellow workers to rise up and join in this mission.
